Kairos Future was founded 25 years ago. Back then, the world was different – less technology, less of market, less climate change, less people, but more poverty. 1984 marked the starting point o f the IT Revolution, the beginning of the end of the Cold War and the start of a more global and freer world. But it was only just the beginning. We will soon be entering a new decade in a very different world – we are on the verge of a new beginning. We are not only entering an era in which the fruits of twenty years of technological revolution will turn into tasty fruitpies, we also face some of the greatest challenges in the history of man, including finding a way to end poverty, stop global warming and build a globalized yet civilized, financially stable world.
