Region Halland is one of several new Swedish regions, founded in 2003 as an association of local municipalities in Halland

  • But what should Region Halland focus on? What should a shared strategy for the future contain?
  • And how could one build a strategy that is accepted and owned by stakeholders as well as the general public?

SOLUTION
Build a process based on the following components:

  • Start with analysis of Halland’s future context - which are the external drivers that need to be considered
  • Involve key stakeholders and general public, not least young persons
  • Build strategy on key assets, contextual challenges and opportunities and vision and values
